Choose the fixes, review every proposed change, edit any of them, and download a corrected XER. The original file is edited cell by cell, never regenerated, so an unchanged round trip is byte-identical.

What it gives you
Nothing is applied blind: plan, review, confirm, then write.
Fixes that claim to move no date are rescheduled with and without the change, and dropped if anything moves.
The written file is read back before you get it: same activities, every link valid, no new loop.
The fixes
- Duplicate relationships and self-referencing logic.
- Out-of-sequence logic, relaxed to the SS or FF the actual dates still satisfy.
- Dangling ends, given their partner link where the dates allow it.
- Redundant relationships, removed only when provably implied.
- Negative lags, remaining duration on completed work, hard constraints and milestone durations.
And what it won't touch
Negative float, missing resources and missed work are the programme reporting something true. The tab lists them with the reason a planner has to act, rather than editing the file to hide them.
